Minority report like interface app for iPhone released


The app is now available on my Installer.app reposiroty

You can replace the images by yours.
Grid.png is a 2x zoomed semi-transparent picture, you can use it for clouds for example. It's just to add a 3D effect.

I can't wait to see your modded apps :-)
You can send me them to make a gallery on the blog.

L'application est maintenant disponible sur mon dépôt Installer.app

Vous pouvez remplacer les images par les vôtres. Grid.png est une image semi-transparente zoomée 2x, vous pouvez l'utiliser pour afficher des nuages par exemple. Ceci dans le but d'ajouter un effet 3D.

Je suis impatient de voir vos appli custom :-)
Vous pouvez me les envoyer dans le but de faire une gallerie sur le blog.

  • Slt! Ca déchire bien le concept, c'est plutôt c lasse, fluide et propre. On pourrait pas juste adapté cette "techno" à tout l'album photo en général ? :) Ca serai génial :)

  • Yeah, next step need to be applying the script to the photo album & google map, that would be just great, maybe by changing/adding your script somewhere into Iphone general configurations files else thank creating an application ? Don't know :) You probably do.

  • Could you make it so that we can put a few pictures on the app, like choose from a menu; or could you just code it so we can apply it to all our pictures on the iPhone, like someone else suggested? Thanks, great work again, happy to have it working on my phone! :)

  • This is amazing...I hope somebody codes it so that all of your pictures can "spill out" as on the surface. Also, I think somebody should try and integrate a flick type feature where if you flick the picture with one finger, it slowly glides across the screen until coming to a stop.

  • I'm just adding a momentum behavior to the picture so you can throw it along the screen. You can also spin a picture like a top.

    I'll try as well to add all the thumbnails pictures from the camera roll so you can choose one, zoom it, etc.

    Je suis en train d'ajouter un mouvement d'inertie à l'image afin de pouvoir la jeter le long de l'écran. Vous pouvez aussi faire tourner l'image comme une toupie...

    Je vais essayer aussi d'ajouter les miniatures de la pellicule photo afin de pouvoir en choisir une, la zoomer, etc.

  • Great app!!

    I tried adding my own picture by renaming it to WTC_skyview.jpg, but once this is done the picture does not center correctly and 'jumps' off the screen when you try to bring it back to center.

    Probably just a small bug

    But keep up the excellent work

  • Just to say that in this version, the picture has to be 797x737 sized.
    If it isn't, the rotation axis won't be in the center and weird things will happen...

    To make it right, you just have to resize your picture to this format with your photo editor.

    I'll try to auto-center the picture in the next version.

  • No don't add such things. Just add them to the GLOBAL settings of the touch/phone. There is probably a way to add your creation to the settings so that we have the rotational thing in anyapply ?

    comment as tu programmé cela ? quel langage ?

    J'adore trop tes Appz et je tiens à te féliciter !
    Par contre, j'ai un p'tit problème pour modifier l'image... A la place du WTC, j'ai mis le plan de Marseille, seulement, quand je veux le déplacer, il se déplace toujours àpdu coin haut gauche. Comment rectifier ça stp ?

  • Bonjour, j'ai vu ce que tu était capable de faire sur l'iphone/itouch, et je voulais savoir si je pouvais compiler des appli sous windows ou linux.
    Ou tous simplement t'aider dans tes dev.
    Je programme en C/C++ et asm, j'ai deja coder des jeux opengl/directx, ainsi qu'un debut de FPS sous linux.
