PhotoBoard.app - Multitouch photo browser

PhotoBoard alpha 0.2.1 is out.

Features :
  • Multi pictures support
  • Load pictures from Camera Roll
  • Keep user wallpaper
This is a new app name for Multitouch.app.
You can add pictures from Camera Roll by touching the screen and loading them from the popup menu.

The app is available from Installer.app source : http://prog.cedsoft.free.fr

Todo in next versions :
  • Camera Roll, Photo lists to load (like the classic Photo.app)
  • Setup screen : set wallpaper opacity
  • Rotate the full board
  • Enable videos adding/playing
  • etc.

  • Brilliant!

    You could use the accelerometer and your physics code to shuffle the pictures. "Shake to shuffle".

    Double click currently does nothing?

    How can we control layer priority?

    I'm sure there's a million things you're thinking of doing. :p

    Dis moi, elles sont stockés ou les images que l'ont charge en faisant ROLL ? Que j'aille mettre en dur à la main qq images... Je suis sur un touch, et j'ai cru comprendre que les images par défaut c celle de l'appareil photo de l'iphone c ca ? Moi en fait là) j'ai ton image par défaut et une image que j'ai utilisé en fond d'écran il fut un temps... Donc si tu pouvais me dire ou pousser qq jpg magnere de m'amuser ! J'espère que tu m'as compris !

  • C'est fantastique ! Bravo pour ton appli ! Juste une petite critique : lorsqu'on fait la rotation : on pose les deux doigts et immediatement l'image s'oriente dans le sens des doigts : ca serait possible qu'on ne prenne pas en compte la position initale des doigts mais seulement la rotation des doigts ?
    Sinon ca serait bien de pouvoir lancer et faire glisser les images sur l'ecran.
    J espere que tu m'a compris ;)

    - setup doesn't work?
    -importation du roll = 2 même images puis une nouvelle (doublé elle aussi)

    -grouping is impresive
    -ability to hide background?

    elle se désinstalle mais l'icone reste sur la page d'accueil.

    Tres bien le prog, mais comment il marche? je l'ai installe sur mon itouch et rien du tout, la seul image que j'ai c'est celle que j'utilise en fon d'ecran et elle ne bouge pas, il m'apparit un menu mais non plus rien a faire..

  • actually i like the world trade center pick, it looks cool.

    What happened to the blue line grid sections? That should be a feature you can turn off and on.

    You should be able to slide a picture (or video) around another frame to bring it to the topmost view or as a higher visual priority over the frames you bring from under and over.

    I hope your videos can be easily paused and played by just tapping the center of them.

  • Great Job on this App! I had an idea when I happened to load a screen grab of my iPhones home screen into PhotoBoard: If each image thats loaded could have an overlay that could contain hotlinks for launching other apps, dialling numbers etc. then this would give us the ultimate mobile 'Finder'!

    It's possible add photo layer idea , when i switch two picture.
    how to display the photo on you future design when user had many photos (ten?,.....one hundred?) ? The iphone screen is 3.5 inches so...i think can't use the same way with "big screen" . right ?

  • Cedric vraiment bravo ! toutes les critiques ont été dites (perso c stt l'image du world trade qui me soule) , vivement les maj !
    par contre je voulais savoir si tu utilisai l'opengl.es et te dire que non seulement l'app. est super mais la ou je te respecte c que plutot que de sortir 1 programme / jour tu sors 1 programme mais un tres bon programme :)
    j'attendais le SIP je sais pas si tu bosses dessus mais apparement une team est en phase de le concrétiser. A bientot

  • Pour les possésseurs d'ipod touch, pour rajouter des photos ils suffit de les mettre dans .../Media/DCIM/100APPLE/ au format ".JPG" (respectez la casse!) en permission 644 (par défaut)
    Testé et approuvé ! :)

    deux remarques pour Cedric : il faudrai enlever le "regex" sur le ".JPG" et accepter aussi les minuscules, et aussi essayer de pas forcer un redimensionement des images qui si elles étaient carrés par exemple, se retrouvent distordu pour avoir la forme ractangulaire de celle de ton appli (twin tower..)

    I would like to make the whole background (which contains all the pictures) rotate and scale (and maybe add the grid on it). Then, it could have load more picture to play with.

    Thanks flo, I've forgotten to say that for iPod Touch users, you can add pictures on /var/root/Media/DCIM/100APPLE/ (jpg, png, etc.) but the ratio is 4/3 actually, I'm gonna adapt it on the next version.

    For the WTC, I just wanted to have a visible link between Multitouch.app and PhotoBoard.app. I'm gonna withdraw it as well.

  • Hé Ced, a priori chez moi ca marche pas avc les .png etc.. J'ai limpression que t'as coder un genre de regex sensible à la casse en plus, ca ne marche qu'avec les photos en .JPG (avc les MAJ) lorsque je dépose dans /var/root/MEDIA/DCIM/100APPLE/

    Ce serait bien de pouvoir enlever une image du board et aussi de sauver un board dans une nouvelle image. Je me construirais des fonds d'écrans comme ça.

  • je n'arrive pas a installer cette application sur mon ipod touch (comme pas mal d'autre d'ailleurs..) quelqu'un aurait une piste?

    le download se fait, l'application plante au moment de la phase d'installation.

  • Great App!! Lots of potential for more features. Keep up the good work. I also like a few are experiencing reduced functionality. Setup does not work, and roll only gives me random pix from the camera roll. I'm on 1.1.1 (if that helps any). I look forward to the next update.   • Hi setup doesnt work. Camera roll only picks WTC picture, does not take photos from camera roll. Running FW 111. Great app. I'm sure the next release fixes these bugs

  • WOW!!

    I have seen videos of this aplication on youtube and it looks amazing, it gets me very excited and i cant wait to get my Ipod Touch this Christmass :)

    I have searched around on google and I have had no luck atall finding out were to start for creating aplications on Iphone/Touch.
    I have no experiance with coding atall but i would really appriciate if you can give me some advice on how to learn and were to start off.

  • Je suis étonné car l'installation fonctionne bien via le repository, en revanche, je vois bien l'application dans Customize mais elle n'a pas d'icone.
    Je ne la vois donc pas sur l'interface.

  • Ton appli est vraiment impressionnante, continue. Le rêve serait que tout l'ipod serait géré comme ça ^^
    Je suis sur itouch 1.1.2 modèle MA627ZD avec Installer v3.0b8 et ça fonctionne niquel chrome.
    Sinon je suis à la version 0.3.1 et l'Installer me propose de revenir à la version 0.2.1 bug ?
